About VAN
Veza Agency Network is a digital transformation consultancy for enterprise B2B. We unify specialists in web, search, and automation into a single partner for marketing leaders navigating the AI era. We also build the software products behind that work, measured in adoption and outcomes, not feature counts.
The Role
You own product strategy and execution for VAN's software products, from discovery through launch and iteration. You decide what gets built and why, sequence the roadmap against real constraints, and hold the line on outcomes over output.
You work shoulder to shoulder with engineering, design, marketing, and delivery. You turn customer problems and commercial goals into a roadmap people can ship against, and you use AI tools to compress research, spec writing, and analysis without lowering the bar on judgment.
This is not a backlog-grooming role. You own what we build and whether it works.
What You'll Work On
- Own the product roadmap and the prioritization calls behind it, tied to commercial outcomes.
- Run discovery with customers, sales, and delivery to separate real problems from feature requests.
- Write clear specs and acceptance criteria that engineering and design can build against without guesswork.
- Sequence releases against real engineering capacity and dependencies, not wish-list dates.
- Define the success metric for every initiative before it ships, and measure against it after.
- Partner with marketing on positioning, launch, and adoption so shipped features reach the people who need them.
- Instrument the product and read the data yourself: usage, retention, and where users stall.
- Apply AI tooling to research synthesis, spec drafting, and analysis without loosening product judgment.
What We Expect
Product Rigor
- Tie every roadmap decision to a commercial outcome or a validated user problem, not opinion.
- Write specs precise enough that engineering rarely has to come back with clarifying questions.
- Define and instrument the success metric before a feature ships, not after.
- Kill or rework features that miss their metric instead of defending them.
- Keep one prioritized, current roadmap the whole team trusts as the source of truth.
Behavioral
- Respond to messages within 2 business hours during your working day, faster when flagged urgent.
- Communicate blockers early, not at the deadline.
- Keep accurate time logs as a standard part of the workflow.
- Self-QA every deliverable before it leaves your hands.
- Make the call when the team is split, and own the outcome either way.
What We're Looking For
Required
- 5+ years in product management for software products, with time spent owning a product area end to end.
- Track record shipping products that moved a real metric: adoption, retention, revenue, or activation.
- Direct experience running discovery and turning it into specs engineering can build from.
- Command of product analytics: defining metrics, instrumenting, and reading the data yourself.
- Experience prioritizing a roadmap against engineering capacity across multiple simultaneous initiatives.
- Worked closely with engineering and design through the full build cycle, not handed off at the spec.
- Daily use of AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, or equivalents) for research, drafting, and analysis.
Strong advantage
- Built or owned a product in the AI, search, or marketing-technology space.
- Experience as the first or most senior PM, setting product process from scratch.
- Background working alongside a services or consulting org, translating client work into product.
- Familiarity with Webflow or the modern web stack VAN builds on.
Who Will Stand Out
You have killed good ideas to protect a focused roadmap, and you can explain why each time. You think in outcomes, not feature counts, and you can point to the metric that proves it.
You are comfortable being the person who decides. You gather the input, make the call, write down the reasoning, and own the result whether it lands or not.
You measure yourself by what the product achieves, not by how much of it you shipped.
What We Offer
