The Role
You own organic discoverability strategy for enterprise B2B clients across SaaS, fintech, and AI-sector brands. That means setting the quarterly roadmap, running audits that diagnose root causes rather than symptoms, and coordinating with engineering and content to ship changes the analytics can prove.
You own technical SEO and AEO / GEO as disciplines that sit together, not apart. You defend recommendations with data. You present strategy to CMOs and the engineers who will implement it — in the language each one actually uses.
This is not a reporting role. You own the organic number.
What You'll Work On
- Enterprise SEO and AEO / GEO strategy across multiple active accounts
- Site audits (technical + content) that diagnose root causes and prioritize by business impact
- Keyword research, topical architecture, and on-page optimization
- Content briefs and collaboration with writers and designers — SEO-led, not SEO-constrained
- Technical SEO — crawlability, indexing, Core Web Vitals, structured data, international
- Link-building strategy and backlink portfolio monitoring
- Reporting for CMO-level audiences — outcomes in the language leadership cares about
- Staying current on algorithm shifts and AI-search surface changes

What We're Looking For
Required
- 2+ years executing SEO strategies with documented outcomes
- Strong technical SEO knowledge — crawlability, indexing, Core Web Vitals, structured data
- Proficiency with Ahrefs or SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, and GA4
- Keyword research and on-page optimization experience
- Working understanding of link building and off-page SEO
- Data analysis and CMO-ready reporting
- Multi-client account management experience
- Detail-oriented, process-driven approach
Strong advantage
- Technical SEO at enterprise scale or on migrations
- CMS platforms (Webflow, WordPress, Shopify)
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript — enough to read a dev pull request
- Conversion rate optimization background
- B2B SaaS or fintech sector experience
- Google certifications
- Content optimization tools (Surfer SEO, Clearscope)
- AEO / GEO / LLM-search familiarity
